The free-piston Stirling engine is a complex self-oscillating system, which parameters should be strictly coordinated with each other to ensure the unit operability. One of such coordination tasks balance energy input and output from displacer. In this case, depends on dissipative forces, provided by displacer rod its diameter. need select diameter complicates slows down design. addition, system possible instability could lead racing. To solve problem, it proposed install pneumatic damper ensuring forces growth an increase in amplitude above nominal value. Thermodynamic model was created evaluate characteristics parameters. MATLAB software package used as development environment. differential equations integrated using Runge --- Kutta family method. multicriteria optimization problem formalized, two objective functions five independent were compiled.
